PDC with GRM plugins?

trying the grm 'classic' and 'ST' plugin pack demos in t2 i notice that a noticeable delay is introduced to a track when i add an effect (not in a rack, but to a regular filter slot). I didn't expect this kind of problem.. anyone know why it's happening? (or if theres any way of fixing it?)
