i racked it first..right clicked and wrapped.
i tried to send different instances to each channel so i could have individual drums in each channel. i selected different outs in the MIDI options in the channel, but i was still getting all the sounds in every channel..which adds up to a LOUD beat!
any ideas what im doing wrong?

Are you sure you're not setting the MIDI "input" channel? Or just the general MIDI channel for the track. You should be able to set each different track to a different MIDI channel, then you have to set the MIDI channel on each instrument within Kontakt so each individual instrument plays only what is sent on that one channel. Then just put a different instance of the Rack on every track.
If you are trying to use different effects with each drum part, then just insert them after the rack, or put them within the rack after the right output.
Maybe I'm confusing what you are asking. I hope it helped though. Good luck, and let us know what happens.

ok..my question now is probably easy..when i make battery as my rack. i am using kick, and snare samples as mono ones..how do i hook those up? do i pretend they are stereo anyway and make them outs 1 and 2 and connect them to both left and right? or do i take one track (like battery 9)and connect it to both left and right out ..or maybejust only left?
also when i have stereo outs like hats that pan a lot, whats the bes way to set those up? thats all that confuses me so far.

i don't know battery, but if you have a mono output simply select it for both left and right channels on the relevant rack filter. For a stereo output, select the L & R outs respectively, and any panning should be preserved.

Hey
Both Battery 1 and Battery 2 have stereo and mono outputs. Just assign the cell that you want to have as mono, and then associate that to a channel in T.
Scoops

I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent
