PLEASE!! Who can help me?

help!!

a project was missing from my list & when i tryed to re add it tracktion said that another project with the same reffrence number was all ready open & bounced me to a compleatly different project that was open,

i closed this project & re tryed to add the orignal 1 i was trying,
it added its self to the project list but it was empty

i manuly added all the files from that folder to the project & now it will open but it says all my audio takes are missing

any body know of a fix or why this may have happend??????

you could click on each audio clip and then look for the missing file (in the options at the bottom). a pain but should restore them. save it as a different edit name just in case there is a way to rescue the old one.

but i cant find the full names of the file its looking for

it only showes me half the name, & some of the tracks where done via loop recording & choped up in to bits so its not that easy to go find them & i have to import for every split i made (witch is alot)

all my files are in one folder, as it was when it was recorded, the folder is in the same place it was made & the files where recorded

any one else with a idea on how to get my edit to find the files, or how to find the full name of the wav that it is looking for???

im compleatly lost

when i try to import external files it says it cant find them,

& if i try to find refrence meterail, it just brinds up a empty screen

is there no way i can find the full name of the missing wav files in the edit atall??

i'm off to try find a draw, because if i cant get this edit back up & running i will have a verry unhappy customer to talk to

Were all the takes recorded in T2? Perhaps it would be quicker to import them all to a fresh edit and start again, using the BWAV time-stamps..?

b wav import wont help me

i recorded corus in loop mode & choped loads of little bits of them to make a good one

i supose i will have to do all that chopping again (might make him voice it again )

i cant beleave there is no way to find the tru wav name of the missing wav files though

maby i should make a FR: store full wave name on audio clips


i'm off to the pub
