What is good enough for guitar is in most cases good for drums too.

Voxengo LF-Punch PC VST plug-in is an FX processor for music and sounds where low-frequency thump and punch are most welcome, and where distortion is applied specifically to bring the bass kicks to life.

Me, too. Always hoped to see more plugins come from Noizware, Tri-dirt is fantastic.Jazz Franco wrote:My personal choice:

I'd recommend getting a hold of any distortion effect you can. Most colour the sound differently, and it isn't like many are particularly complex to use. If you're planning on doing synth drums, lots of differently distorted hits are an asset.
Also give Jonas Norberg's distortion effects a whirl (FloatCrusher, PWMDrive, Firegain, Square-o-matic, Whix) and some of the NDC plugins (highly recommend Cycle Shifter). And checkout the step-sequencer/bitcrusher xoxos made.
