Hi guys !!!!

Is it possible to change a midi channel within a midi clip ? For example, I want a C3 to be played thru channel 1, then a D3 to be played thru channel 3, then C3 again to be played thru channel 4, within the same clip.

If it's not possible, is this a VST plug that allows it ? (for example, a plug that changes to midi output channel depending on the value of an unused midi controller, let's say 12x)

Sorry if this has already been asked but I can't find the answer on this forum.

Thx in advance :)

'fraid not.

MIDI channel is clip level not note level. :(

As a (kind of workaround) you can always layer clips. The notes from the 'hidden' clip will be visible when editing, so you get some of the feel of a merged clip.

Hi.
Therefore ou usually have a multitrack MIDI environment (commonly called Sequencer).

With advanced host application you also can *swich* a track to send on all possible MIDI channels.

Ok, thanx for the answers.
