Tracktion 2 manuals?

What's the deal with the Tracktion 2 manuals? There are 2 PDF files with Tracktion 2 - 1 called the 'User's guide' & the other called 'Reference guide'. The reference guide is the bigger of the 2 but some of the chapters are about the same stuff! Why didn't they just make a getting started guide + a full manual? the difference in size between the 2 is only 32 pages! I don't see the point of having both of them to be honest.
