Wave Device Menu Issue

When using Tracktion2, the program is listing an uninstalled wave device (a Tascam US-122) as an available device to select from the drop down menu. I have uninstalled this device ( I am now using an M-Audio Firewire Solo), but the Tascam still shows up as a choice in the wave device menu. I have unistalled all of the Tascam files and registry entries following Tascams documentation, but Tracktion2 still says the US-122 is available. Of course if you select it you get an error code saying the device does not exist. No surprise since all of the drivers are removed. Other sequencing apps. on the same computer such as Cubase and Sonar don't show the Tascam device any longer available.

Anyone have any idea what Tracktion2 is "seeing" during it's initialization to still show the Tascam device. I have tried uninstalling Tracktion2 and reinstalling, but this did not help. This problem does not stop me from using the software, but is more of a curious annoyance.

Thanks for reading this long post and for any ideas on how I can get this device to "go away" once and for all. BTW the T2 and the Firewire Solo are a killer combo .... all the other software and hardware I mentioned are gone. It's T2 all the way for me.

Problem solved! It turns out that the Tascam clean uninstall instructions are incomplete. I decided to begin looking through the registry keys for some clues and found two addtional entries that Tascam does not mention in their instructions. Once they were deleted the problem was solved!
The keys are:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO\ASIO_US122_16BIT
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO\ASIO_US122_24BIT

It was not a T2 issue. :)
