I'm having a play with it just now (long time fan of Slicy drummer/Fill in drummer, and this is basically them in a vst), and may be buying soon. I'm still debating with myself on whether jamstix (the big alternative contender) really suits my style of music or not. I like what it can do, but although it pains me to say it, i maybe need more pattern based drumming, a bit more predictable, rather than something that "jams". I know that can be achived with jamstix, but it can also be done in Slicy a lot easier (by me anyway). I don't really jam when i play in a band, we tend to play a song, rather than f**king about on a chord sequence and an endless guitar/bass/drum solo. I've played in those kind of bands, and it gets a wee bit wanky.
Anyway, anyone using it? I love the little humanise and shuffle sliders with any decent multi-layered drumkit (would like to hear it on BFD).
I know this sounds like a bit of a plug, it's not, i just want to hear other people's opinions, and maybe other alternatives for quickly creating "real" "human" drum patters

I'd like to try it, but I haven't been able to get the demo to work. 
I bought Jamstix too. I like it a lot, but I think it's primary focus has been on the whole Free Jam aspect of it. While I think it's a neat idea, I'm really more interested in the Manual Jam side of things with the ability to add some "humanism" into the mix. I'm still getting to know it though, and we'll see how it goes.
I'd also like to hear about other alternatives that people are using as well.

I bought Jamstix and I have yet to use the Free Jam component. To be honest it just doesn't do what I want it to do. The manual jam aspect however is very powerful and I can't see myself without it

The initial demo was crashing when scanning vst directories during setup. Apparently some specific vsts gave it some trouble. They released a couple newer versions of the demo to try to alleviate the problem, and it seems to work better for most people.
The issue I'm having now is that it won't can't connect to my ASIO port to get the settings for my Audiophile 2496. Sergey posted a workaround for me to try on the MusicLab forum, but I haven't had the chance to yet. My trial period ends in a few days, but I don't know if I'll have it working by then.

Oh right, so it's actual bugs rather than wondering how it all hangs together ... not sure how much help i can be with that to be honest, that all works fine for me here. With an M-audio firewire 410 ...

FWIW I dpn't really use the Jamstix live jamming aspect at the mo - I use the patterns or create my own (very simple - and if you want less variation on them just pull the relevant sliders down and WYSIWYG). You then have a nice solid, predictable but very human drum track. And later you can still add a midi control curve to control intensity / complexity if you want.
I tried Slicy/Fill-in some time ago and it seemed slightly less immediately accessible, but very powerful, plus I would have needed DR-008 too at the time. When the stories about the VST version came out I was sure I'd go for it, then along came Jamstix.
A quick look seems to suggest the Musiclab one has more percussion elements (Jamcussion will be an additional product to Jamstix although will slave to it).

I should note that I really like Jamstix, and the more I learn about it the more I see how to effectively use it in Manual mode. It was definitely worth the $79. 
Once I got Jamstix, I wasn't really burning to buy the Drum Tools package at $149. I just would have liked to evaluate it without any trouble. In fact, I started checking out the Jamstix demo because of the issues I had with Drum Tools, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise or something.
