Best ways to bus?

I have been bussing multiple guitar, or vocal tracks, by setting the outputs to another track. This works fine until you want to...freeze some of the tracks (you have to freeze the bus) or turn solo back off (you have to turn off the track AND the bus).

How do you guys bus things? do you use sendrella? What other options do you think work well?


By the way how come you can only solo one track at a time? My mixer doesnt do that and Ive gotten used to it. If you only want to hear 2 or 3 tracks, you have to mute everything else.

To solo more than one track you can either use control-click, or shift-click, or alt-click.
