Hi, there has been talk of new pattens being released and $10 - $15 dollars being mentioned for them. But this is a quote from the site
"Factory Library: with a pattern collection arranged per musical style.
The Factory Library in version 1.0 features 26 drum kits and 20 styles, for a whole of about 4000 different patterns.
More will be added at each DK+ update"
Surely this suggests those updates (and the new patterns) will be free for registered users?
I thought DK+ updates were free?

I don't know much more than you do, but:
If you consider the patterns to be 'presets', than it's not uncommon to have free presets included with the VSTi, and more new free presets with each upgrade, but also to have payed presets available separately. e.g. if GrooveMonkee's patterns would be converted to DK+, it would be reasonable to pay for that.
Of course, since I paid twice as much as most other users, for me $10 is only a small add-on to DK+
