I'm still using T1, win98SE, Athlon 1.2 GHz, 256MB, etc.
I'm about to pull the trigger to buy the boxed T2 version, even though my PC isn't up to snuff for T2.
Will the bundled instruments like the lite version of SampleTank, or the BS-1 soundfont player, work with T1?
Just curious. I do plan on getting a new PC, but not just yet. I've got to get T2 before the rebate offer runs out.

Scott I use an Athlon 1.2GHz too, but have 512MB RAM and can get by as long as I'm not running demanding plugins on 4,5+ tracks at once and even get by with Guitarport runngin in the background too. You may find that a modest RAM upgrade will get you by in the meantime before that big upgrade

Does anyone know if the bundled soft instruments in T2 boxed are WinXP only, or somehow tied to T2?
I want to use the BS1 and Sampletank SE VSTi in particular with T1, until I buy a new system - which will be soon.
Please advise. timmyo, yes, I know memory would help - but my current system I built before wanting a DAW and it's just too loud all by itself. No use wasting $$ upgrading it.
