Hi everyone,
I'm using the Creative Prodikeys as my MIDI device. They usually work quite well but sometimes they will stop inputting anything and become disabled in the settings tab. When i try to enable them again it simply says "Couldn't open the midi port". I've noticed that I can fix it by restarting the computer. Why does this error occur and how can I make it stop? It is extremely annoying.
Thanks if you can help,

I had this in the past and it was down to dodgy drivers. Have you checked that there aren't more recent drivers available? (Or even older ones that may have been more stable.)

Thanks, I'll try that. Does anybody happen to know which drivers are the most stable possibly?

I get this error when a dodgy plug-in instrument crashes T.
Reopening T, everything seems ok, but it won't be able to open the midi driver until I reboot.

Yes. Same issue here. I cant restart the driver unless i reboot. Does anybody have any sort of fix?
