Problem with MIDI CC in Eve One v1.1?

I seem to be having some problems with Eve One v1.1 in Cubase VST 5.1r1.

Firstly, Eve One receives MIDI CC messages but does not retain the information. Example, I start a track with MIDI CC7 with a value of 86. Eve One recognises the the CC message for one tick then goes all the way up to value 127 and remains there.

Secondly, the Sound Wizard settings are not retained after the first tick of the track - they go back to default settings.

Is anyone having similar issues?

Hope these issues can be resolved as Eve One is one seriously nice unit. I've already started to convert some of my Akai multisamples to use in it.

OK so this is weird. I went back to the project I've been working on where I had problems with Eve One.

Out of curiosity, I check the data in each of the tracks and discovered that two of them had weird stuff in them (not the Eve One track). One had lots of pitch bend messages and the other several program change message (non of them I entered). After stripping out these extra messages..voila...Eve One behaves as it should (receives Midi CC, retains settings, etc.)

I'm confused as to what happen but I'm glad that everything is now OK.....until I upgrade to Cubase SE or SL

I also had Cubase VST 5.1r1 and
when you import MIDI files your shoudl always check the part with Ctrl+G editor and remove the uneeded MIDI messages, <grin>
