Eve One crashing Sonar

i'm getting lots of crashes in my formerly perfect daw with eve one

sonar will start to crackle then crash in 'faulting module eveone p4.dll'

it even happened overnight when sonar wasn't playing ! i had a project with one audio track and one eve midi track and i woke up the next day and sonar had crashed - again in eve one p4.dll !

i'm reluctant to blame my daw since it *never* crashes with anything else and the crash report always specifies eve. It also never happens with eve 1.8. i also updated to the latest eve version - n effect.

funnily enough this sort of crash is indicative (i believe) of a denormal crash ?

any sonar users seen this ?

also, this never happened with the 'normal' eve one. i'm going to go back to that one and see what happens...

No such problem here using the non-P4 EVE ONE 1.1 in Sonar 4 Studio. However the other thing I was telling you about, Luigi, persists. I will wite you about that later.

thanks, we did a test with 4 istances of eve one
running all night in Sonar 4,

2 P4 + 2 non-P4, but nothing happened,

if that's a "eve one P4" bug, we'll have hard time to find it, <sigh>, as it doesn't show on every PCs

Tried with Sonar 4.0.2 for a few hours again - recording and playing some classical 12 measure blues with several instances of EVE ONE P4, but had no problems... -but a lot of fun because I like blues

However I have a few questions that may help me to reproduce the problem:

- Which version of Sonar are you using?
- Can you tell me the buffer size reported by Cakewalk (the "Effective latency" shown in the Audio Options) and the size of the buffer (in samples) reported by the ASIO control panel of your sound card?
