Tracktion and AudioFire8 Latency

Hello Everyone. Just started using the AudioFire8 and seems I'm having a latency issue with Tracktion. When the latency is set to 0, there's a bit of lag with the click track after recording. When I use Tracktion's auto feature, which requires plugging the input of the AudioFire into the output, it calculates a latency of 847 ms, which not only seems really high, but Tracktion's max setting is 500. Either way, 500 is way off. In experimenting randomly,50 ms seems about right, but how do I get the latency set so it's dead-on?
