I was recommended to this forum for some help in a quest I have.

Anyway, I'm poor and such, so I can't afford any super 1337 sequencing programs, so I just sequence some midi and then run it through a soundfont.

But my problem is this: I'm writing some death metal, and I have everything tuned to Drop A, and I can't seem to find a sound font that goes lower than B, which means I'm missing two notes :(

I"m applying these soundfonts with the Fruity Loops demo, as it's the only thing I've managed to make do it, so if anyone knows of a good bass soundfont with the notes I'm looking for (I want a realistic bass!) or a way to make it so that one of the soundfonts I currently have will be able to do it, I'd really appreciate the help!

Thanks.

Record the B from the font you have and load it into a sampler and stetch it down to A.

Take the font, load it on Vienna or another soundfont editor, and edit the sample range from the A note.
