then my suggestion would be:
1. ring/email all mackie's official T2 distributers to find the lowest price.
2. ring/email them all again to see if they are willing to sell for less than the lowest price quoted.

i bought T2 a couple of months ago. at the time full compass was the only store selling below $149. i was just about to buy from there when petosa music (good customer service by the way) emailed me back to see if i wanted to buy from them. i mentioned the full compass price and they were willing to sell for less than that. so i ended up saving quite a bit more than i thought i would. with the $60 T1 rebate as well, buying T2 boxed was a pretty easy decision.
