its hard to turn down all of the tracks when im recording, make it so i can master control separately to the end to end on all recording inputs

the thing is, i want to hear the end to end fx, but turning down the rest of the "disk stream". sometimes its hard to get everything set so that you can eventually set it up to actually give the client some space to hear their own voice/guitar etc in a large mix

y'could always route all your trackz0rsz to another track first. bit of a do tho.
why not just put a few gainers on the recording tracks and turn down the master?

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

yeah see thats more or less what im asking, like to have a little fader somewhere to control everything but the recording. if not fine ill figure it out. i mean it'd be an easier workaround than say a/b/c etc mix buttons

dont you have a mixing desk ron?
i'm lost
are you troling? if not explain why you are monitering via tracktion? when you have no need?
send the raw mike out the desk into tracktion & moniter via the mixing desk

I think he likes monitoring with VST effects on the signal.

or (if its a reverb you need to use on the vox while recording) run the dry signal through the desk for zero-latency monitoring, and set the reverb plug on the record channel all-wet. This may also mean you can up your latency a bit for more stability, as it will translate to a slightly longer pre-delay on the verb instead of a delay on the actual voice.

yeah but then it gets complicated , i work often with 24-or-so tracks, and its a chore to turn it off... you see, i do have a monitoring dial on my firepod, but again no vst fx, etc. plus noticable latency (6ms)
anyways it was just a request
