when i delete a source file of a clip, the track zooms in to large mode. wtf?

bug has been reported. Even found a way to make it happen consistantly... unfortunately, it's not replicatable in everyone's experience. It makes me a bit batty tho...

Ron... question... when you get this track zooming bug... are you pressing "delete" on the keyboard, or are you right click deleting from the context menu?

its when i delete the source file, right click, delete+delete source

do you left click the clip first, then right click the clip to bring up the context menu, then select delete+source? try this.. if the clip isn't selected, try right-clicking the clip to select and bring up the context menu simultaneously.. then select delete+source... I'm curious if that works.

I'm actually experiencing with either "delete" or "delete+source" from the context menu only... but it requires certains steps in selecting the clip in order to make it happen.
