REWIRE problem with T2/Bidule

Hi folks! First post here.
First off, I'm loving Tracktion. Been using the demo; I'm going to buy the full package pretty soon here.
Same thing with Plogue Bidule, actually.
I want to use them together via ReWire, which I've never used before. I understand it's automatically installed when you install a program such as T2 or Bidule (anything that uses RW).
I drag the ReWire filter down to the track I want but in the little box where you select which ReWire device you want, it says "ReWire Unavailable" and some more text that I can't read because the box isn't big enough.
Some help here, please!! Much appreciated!

Hi
Check the Plogue Bidule doco to see who's ReWire Master:Slave etc. Make sure you have it round the right way.
Also, you may want to see this thread for T2 & ReWire niggles - NOT a serious problem. -> clicky

According to this web document that someone on the Mackie forum wrote, one just has to set Bidule as a slave in T2 and then load Bidule via the "Launch editor" button (which doesn't appear for me because I can't choose a device!).
I just looked at the log file that Tractkion makes when it starts and the little bit on Rewire says that it can't load the DLL - I guess that solves that. Now how do I get it to load the DLL?

First off, check this out if you haven't already:
http://www.mts.net/~mathers/q1_rewire1b.html
Second, it does seem like it isn't loading the .dll properly. Or there is some rewire version conflict. If you search for rewire.dll (you're on PC right?) on your system, you should find the .dll in your WINDOWS\system32 directory. It should be version 1.4.7.74 or later (that is the version that T2 installs, its not the latest). If you don't see it there, there should be one in Program Files\Tracktion\setup which you can drag over but I would just advise running the installer again. Perhaps Bidule requires a new .dll so maybe run its installer again first to see if that does it.

I'm using a Mac (OSX, latest version 10.4.2). There really isn't much of an installation process! For T2, it says "Installing Tracktion" the first time I load it, and that's it. No options, etc etc.
Bidule doesn't even have _that_ - just open the .dmg, drag the Bidule folder, and run it.
Bleh!

SOLVED.
I downloaded the latest Reason demo and ran it -- fixed the problem right up.

OK, so that was the problem then. I'll bet either tracktion or bidule installed a version that was too old for the other (probably tracktion's fault to be honest) and then the reason install updated it. We'll make sure the next version of Tracktion has the latest rewire file.
Glad things are working for you.

Thanks!
I'm actually loving it. Goofily enough, it have have been less of a big deal as I thought, now that I've found SonicBirth -- I'm trying to decide whether to purchase Bidule or SonicBirth. Either way, Tracktion is in!!
