Anyone have a problem getting the MIDI Thru rack to work?

IIRs told me about how to use the rack where you just patch the MIDI through from one end to the other, then you can put the first instance into the track where your MIDI input goes, then replicate the rack and it will replicate your MIDI input in any other track you put it in. Great, but I got stuck notes on every note when I tried it. It happned every time in several configurations using the MIDI thru rack.

Anyone else have this happen?
