FXB install Issues

Hi all


I have been having this issue for a while...and it may be particular to my unit...but would like to know if other users experience the same issue.

Basically..whenver I drop an FXB into the installer folder..and try to install it...it just STAYS THERE. Hitting the install button on the setup page gives no reaction..it always says: "1 file to install". It only dissapears after I delete the actual FXB from the HD.


My solution is to use another app ( like eXT) and create indevidual FXP's of every single patch in the bank..put them in a folder, and drop the folder in the Installer and THEN IT WORKS!

While I have a somewhat laberous solution, it would be much easier to drop an FXB :-)

anybody else have this problem??..or..is it just my unit..since I have so many plugins :-) any suggs would be great!

HELP?!?!?!?

I upgraded to 1.4 BETA yesterday and now I have this exact same problem. no FXB files will install at all! Exactly as TC describes the problem above.

PLEASE tell me there is a fix!?

Just tried it, too. The FXB just sits there. Removing it from the folder makes it go away from the "install" button....

It does the same on my box, too. I have a larger issue that I'm trying to figure out, though.

Interesting, I have something there

\Loose Patches\CamelSpace-TCBreadNButter.fxb

And receptor will not let me delete the file or the directory.
