If you're interested in getting together, where? When? What do you want to do? Should it be more social or are you wanting to get together and try to share Tracktion info, tips, grooves etc...
OK so far we've got... (I'll keep this current)

Yahoo! I'm in.
Schedule? Any Saturday afternoon/evening with a little notice.
My preference would be a studio environment so we could share tips etc. If I can borrow a crt, then I don't have to lug mine. Also, do you have a board so we can patch everything up at once.
I hope more people respond. This could be fun.
Beer is good too.

I know that Stephan326 is also from the area. And I believe there may be another one or two. I'm not sure where braj is from. He may have just been helping with directions.
We could extend it to anyone in the region also, like Atlanta or something. It would be fun, and maybe an opportunity to learn some tricks. We'll have to keep the idea going and build on it. I'm in.

Cool. I think it should be a regional thing. Well, actually, anyone could come from anywhere. But outside of the region, it may be a bit far.
But anyone would be invited. Let's see how many we could get!

I'm only 45 min from downtown Nashville despite living 4 miles over the state border.
I sell most of my work now through Tag Art Gallery / The Arts Company on 5th street downtown. Drop by if you're curious. They always have some of my current work hanging up.
I also come to town about twice a month to deliver paintings, catch up and just walk around.

5 guys and a computer. Who wouldn't want to miss that?

In order for us to do this, it would have to be well planned. It would kind of suck to just all show up and sit around for 4 hours wondering what to do. Of course, we could share T creations, get a bite to eat, etc. But there's got to be something more. Not much, but something worth coming for. Because for those that have to drive especially, it may not be worth it. So if anyone has any ideas, then share em.
Too bad Beno or Jules wasn't just "by chance" coming through the area any time soon.
Anyway, this will work if those involved actually help form it. I think it would be fun.

I suggest having a few tables set up as workstations where we can set up a modest versioin of our own rig. All could feed a mixing board so we can monitor things quickly through the same reference system. A network connection via ethernet and wireless would help transfer files.
Perhaps we could each prepare a song to give away as a personal template for how we typically work? We could even collaborate on a collective idea. We could post the results on a server so anyone who wasn't able to attend personally can still get something out of it.
Someone should take some pics and post. Is Tracktionfaction still around?
