# artcode Drum - User Manual / ユーザーマニュアル.

### Overview.

**artcode Drum** is a 909-style analog drum machine synthesizer plugin. All sounds are generated in real-time using additive and subtractive synthesis techniques - no samples are used. Available as VST3 and CLAP formats.

### Installation.

#### Windows/Users/yanagisawaryuyya/Desktop/artcode-drum-manual.md.

Copy 'artcode Drum.vst3' folder to:

- VST3: 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\'

- CLAP: 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\'

#### macOS.

Copy 'artcode Drum.vst3' bundle to:

- VST3: '~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/'

- CLAP: '~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP/'

### Drum Sounds.

artcode Drum features 10 synthesized drum sounds:

### Parameters.

#### Per-Drum Parameters.

- **Tune**: Adjusts the pitch/frequency of the drum sound.

- **Decay**: Controls how long the sound sustains.

- **Click** (Kick only): Adds transient attack click.

- **Drive** (Kick only): Applies saturation/distortion.

- **Snap** (Snare only): Adds sharp transient attack.

- **Tone**: Balances between tonal and noise components.

- **Spread** (Clap only): Adjusts timing between multiple hits.

#### Global Effects.

**DELAY**.

- Mix: Wet/dry balance (0-100%).

- Time: Delay time (50ms - 1000ms).

- FB: Feedback amount for echo repeats.

**REVERB**.

- Mix: Wet/dry balance (0-100%).

- Size: Room size / decay length.

**MASTER**.

- Vol: Master output volume.

- Drive: Global saturation.

- Comp: Simple compression amount.

### Preset System.

artcode Drum includes a preset system with two banks:

#### Factory Bank (8 presets).

1. Init - Default settings.

2. Classic 909 - Authentic 909 sound.

3. Hard Techno - Aggressive, punchy sounds.

4. Deep House - Warm, rounded tones.

5. Electro - Electronic dance sounds.

6. Ambient - Soft, spacious sounds.

7. Punchy - Maximum impact.

8. Lo-Fi - Vintage character.

#### User Bank (8 slots).

- Select USER bank and adjust parameters.

- Click **SAVE** to store current settings.

- User presets are saved within the plugin session.

### Tips.

- Double-click any knob to reset to default value.

- Drag up/down on knobs to adjust values.

- Use velocity-sensitive MIDI input for dynamic performances.

- Combine Drive and Comp for aggressive character.

Temporary fix for macOS Tahoe
Step 1: Remove Security Protection Open Terminal and copy/paste this command: bash sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/artcode_* Enter your Mac password when prompted.

Step 2: Install Rosetta 2 (for Apple Silicon Macs) bash softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license.

Step 3: Configure Your DAW.

Right-click your DAW (Ableton, Logic Pro, etc.) "Get Info"

Check "Open using Rosetta"

Restart your DAW.

Done! You can now use these plugins:

artcode_bass (VST3/CLAP).

artcode_drum (VST3/CLAP).

artcode_synth (VST3/CLAP).

macOS Tahoeで動かない場合の臨時解決方法.

手順1: セキュリティ解除 ターミナルを開いて、以下をコピー&ペーストして実行： bash sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/artcode_* パスワードを求められたら、Macのログインパスワードを入力してください。.

手順2: Rosetta 2のインストール（Apple Silicon Macの場合） bash softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license.

手順3: DAWの設定.

DAW（Ableton、Logic Proなど）を右クリック 「情報を見る」.

「Rosettaを使用して開く」にチェック.

DAWを再起動.
