Adam Monroe Music has released an AU Version of Adam Monroe's Slap Bass for OS X 10.9 or higher. The plugin works with both 32 and 64-bit DAWs, and includes the same features as the VST and Kontakt versions:
- 5 Note round-robin for slapped and picked notes.
- One octave of harmonics.
- Major 3rd and Perfect 5th Slides up/down.
- 3 octave range, from C1 to D#4.
- 3.8 GB of sampled data.
Adam Monroe's Slap Bass was sampled from a Jazz bass through a DI box and seeks to replicate the classic slap-and-pop-electric-bass-growl found on numerous dance, rock, and funk records. Slap articulations can be triggered via the foot pedal, and slides via the pitch wheel.
