discoDSP has announced the release of Discovery Synth 6.1.
Changes:
- Polyphony is now fixed at 32 voices.
- Updated oversampler DSP with dynamic processing, 2x set as default for 44-48 kHz, switching to 1x for higher frequencies.
- Optimized synth voice DSP for smoother performance.
- Fixed legato mono play modes for proper behavior.
- New envelope-aware voice stealing minimizes retriggering and enhances polyphony.
- Refactored DSP process block for more stability.
- Improved GUI image caching for faster performance.
- Fixed pitch bend GUI issue and doubled the mouse drag range for precise sound design.
- New preset functions: Save and Paste now work within the active bank.
- Refactored internal functions to prevent memory leaks and buffer underruns.
- Modernized popup menus to prevent memory leaks.
- Improved DSP initialization.
- Fixed UTF8 issue with bank path and right delay LCD status issue.
Additionally, Discovery Synth is now available on iPad via the Apple App Store for $19.99.
