John Chaplin has announced the release of MIDIPatch, a simple utility for macOS to patch hardware connected to your computer without the need to open a DAW. This is useful when you want to send MIDI from one device to another.
The application sits in the menu toolbar to quickly connect devices without the need to launch and configure digital audio workstations or other software.
A simple example of this might be using your MIDI controller to trigger a hardware synth or sampler.
It requires little RAM and low on CPU.
MIDIPatch is available in the Mac App Store for $1.99.
