The Mix Challenge competitions start off with one game this month.
The following challenges are currently open to compete in:
- Songwriting Competition #077:
- The theme being "Community Scramble" (Special Sound Design Challenge).

Create a production in any music genre you feel like (fitting to the given premise).

Deadline: 24th of January.
Prizes will be awarded to the Winners Podium. Among them (selection): Acon Digital, Audified, Cherry Audio, Ghostwave Audio, Hollow Sun, Hornet Plugins, IK Multimedia, JRR Sounds, Kilohearts, kv331 audio, Luftrum, Metric Halo, Musiclab, Nugen Audio, Rekkerd Sounds, Satyatunes Graphic and Sound Design and Tone2.
Throughout the last quarter of 2023, the Mix Challenge audio community has collected an interesting selection of self-created sounds and samples, which are to be used as the main sound source for Songwriting Competition 077 (SWC077). Participants can mangle this material through re-sampling, modulation, wavetable synthesis or similar. The main idea is to push creativity due to only having access to a limited selection of sounds.
The rules and guidelines of the Songwriting Competition will apply. SWC 077 will run until 24th January 2024. The Mix(ing) Challenge is on its annual vacation until February 2024.
