NI Intakt released

Native Instruments Intakt loop sampler is now available.

Intakt combines beat slicing, time stretching and a classic sampler mode into a complete loop workstation: slice, stretch, compress, effect and modulate sliced grooves into powerful new rhythmic creations. Intakt includes a 1.2 GB library, full of drum and instrument loops drawn from the award-winning libraries of Zero-G and East West and optimised by Native Instruments sound designers to take full advantage of Intakt's features.

Intakt is available for Windows and Mac OS X as a VSTi, DXi, AUi and RTAS plugin for $199, Kontakt owners can cross-grade for $99.

Features:

• Based on the Kontakt sampling engine -- up to 128 stereo voices, professional sound quality with 32 bit processing, up to 96 kHz sample rate support.
• Three sampler-modes: Beat Machine with ISE (Individual Slice Edit), Time Machine and Sampler mode.
• Easy synchronization of loops to MIDI tempo.
• Modulation section provides AHDSR envelope, two individual LFOs, envelope follower and a DBD pitch envelope.
