Plugin Alliance has announced the release of the Vertigo VSS-2 plugin, a discrete channel strip combining elements from the line up of high-end Vertigo analog hardware.
The VSS-2 integrates filters from the VSE-2, the VCA compressor from the VSC-3, the Gyrator EQ from the VSE-4, and the tube saturation circuit from the VSM-4 into a single plugin. Plugin Alliance states this plugin is designed to provide a comprehensive signal chain for mixing, aiming to clean up, smooth, enhance tone, and add warmth to your audio.
Vertigo VSS-2 is structured into four sections:
- VSE-2: Input filters for frequency roll-off.
- VSC-3: Quad VCA compression for dynamics control and gloss.
- VSE-4: Gyrator EQ for tone shaping.
- VSM-4: Switchable tube saturation.
