Rast Sound has released Evolver 2, a graph-based multi-effect for drawing movement into sounds and performing that movement in real time. The plugin combines five effect lanes with editable motion graphs, presets, transforms, macros and an XY Perform pad for creating pump, wobble, stutter, drift, blooms and transitions without building complex automation.
New in Evolver 2:
- Visual motion canvas for drawing and editing effect movement.
- Full motion presets for loading complete moving scenes.
- Graph presets for pumps, wobbles, stutters, swells, drifts, gates and transitions.
- Graph transforms including Repeat, Half Speed, Invert, Mirror, Smooth, Humanize and Simplify.
- DEP, Y and X controls for adjusting motion depth, range and timing without redrawing the graph.
- Motion lengths from 1 bar to 64 bars, with snap settings for rhythmic and triplet movement.
- Four macro controls, XY Perform, Smart Move suggestions and Alive variation.
- Five reorderable FX lanes with new parameters: Mod, Delay, Dist, Filter and Rev.

Evolver 2 is available in AU, VST3 and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
It is available for €59 during the introductory period until July 21st, 2026 (regular price is €99). Owners of the first version can upgrade to Evolver 2 for €29.
