RetroWare has released version 1.3 of midiO, a free Audio Unit plug-in for applications such as GarageBand that don't support MIDI output. This plug-in allows you to drive a MIDI-based synthesizer from any DAW that supports software instrument Audio Units.
Changes in v1.3:
- Passes AU validation under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
- Can generate program and bank change messages.
