Sonica Instruments releases free updates to its Virtuoso Japanese Series, along with two special offers

Sonica Instruments has updated all eight of its Virtuoso Japanese Series libraries — ranging from three koto libraries to Kabuki and Noh theater percussion instruments, and from the sanshin to the rare sho flute.

The updated libraries now include 20 default MIDI grooves and a useful Groove Browser for exploring authentic musical phrases tailored for each instrument. The Browser provides full control over swing, velocity, and other parameters, and the MIDI phrases can be exported directly to your DAW.

When combined with the upcoming Groove Inspirations MIDI packs, the Groove Browser gives you access to a wealth of high-quality phrase banks.

Updates are available for free through Native Access.
