Soundiron releases New Iron Packs: "Irish Penny Whistle" and "Prepared Acoustic Guitar"
Soundiron has released two new Iron Packs: Irish Penny Whistle and Prepared Acoustic Guitar.
Iron Pack #11 ($3.99) is a chromatically sampled alto penny whistle. The tin whistle falls into the fipple flute family, similar to recorders and Native American flutes. The flute was recorded dry, capturing standard sustains, vibrato, flutter tongue and trills, staccatos (4x round-robin) and short phrases. It also includes 8 playable flute fx pads and atmospheres:

- 14 SFZ 2.0 instrument presets (universal open source).

Iron Pack #12 ($3.99) is the final edition in this series, with a range of prepared acoustic guitar string plucks. Each string was prepared with various bits of metal wires, scraps, nuts and bolts. There are also 14 different sound designed lead tones, ambiences and evolving atmospheres:
