Soundprovocation has announced the release of Ethnic Horns, a new sample instrument for Kontakt and EXS24 created from a full set of ancient wooden Lithuanian horns.
When making Ethnic Horns, Soundprovocation's main goal was to recreate the natural sound and subtleties of these instruments. The idea was realized by recording 225 different samples in total. Each note of two recorded octaves has 9 variations of around five-second samples. Every time you press a single note you will hear a different variation, which helps to recreate the natural feel of the instrument.
Ethnic Horns is dedicated to movie, theatre soundtrack producers and composers with special needs to add something unordinary and natural to their creations.
Ethnic Horns is available for EXS24 and Kontakt. It costs €14.99 but is currently available for the introductory price of €9.99.
