Stargate DAW have updated their all-in-one DAW and plugin suite for Windows, macOS and Linux to 24.02.1.
The latest release features:
- Piano Roll: Make resizing multiple notes consistent with other Stargate event editors. Instead of forcing all selected notes to the same length, resize relative to their original length.
- Piano Roll: New note expression parameter: Pitch. Sharpen or flatten each note within the range of 1.0 to -1.0 semitones.
- Piano Roll: Fix SHIFT+drag resize being limited to a minimum of 1x quantize size, now limited to a minimum of a 128th note.
- Piano Roll: New action: Find Keys and Scales. Find all possible keys and scales that the notes in a sequencer item could be a part of. Start a melody by ear, then find potential keys/scales to build the melody around.
- Piano Roll: Add new scale: All. Root note + all white notes.
- Transport: More consistent icon sizes and alignment between buttons.
- Transport: Replace Host combobox with a toolbar icon.
- Sequencer: Fix bugs where deselected items can become selected again after performing some particular actions.
- .deb package: Fix for Ubuntu 23.10.
- Welcome Screen: Better readability and style for the project history list.
- Fix crash when attempting to run a 2nd instance of Stargate, before the "Already running, you must stop the first instance" message can be shown.
- Linux AppImage: Fix regression where "Install to start menu" action no longer worked.
