As part of the Instrument Series, Reggae Guitar focuses on electric and acoustic guitars. A collection of electric bass performances are also included and provide the perfect complement to the guitars. Whether plugged or unplugged – or a combination of both – Reggae Guitar will get your next song project started with the guitar style that defines the musical sound of the Caribbean.
Authentic Rhythms Of Reggae
Reggae Guitar contains 390 individual loops and phrases spanning over 2 GB of sample data. The performances are up to 32 seconds in length. The original recording tempos vary between 80 and 140 BPM. While the feel is mostly smooth and laid-back, Elastik's powerful tempo features make it easy to match the tempo of the guitar performances to your project's needs.
Plugged And Unplugged
The loops are organized into 20 separate folders with each folder featuring a unique musical idea. For the electric guitars, each of these main folders contains three guitar parts. A pre-mixed loop combines these with left/right and center panning of the three parts for easy use or auditioning. The left/right parts are generally focused on rhythmic elements, while the third provides a more melodic line. All parts are then also provided as individual loops in both amp version with added effects such as tape delay and reverb and dry DI versions. Further loops are also provided with more extreme effects applied to provide additional sound design options and suitable endings. The various formats provide plenty of flexibility when arranging and mixing your project.
Bonus Bass Loops Included
A further set of 20 folders contains complementary acoustic guitar performances. These musical ideas also consist of three individual guitars, included as premixed stereo loops and both DI and pristine microphone-based recordings. These loops match the performances within the electric guitar section of the library. Acoustic and electric performance can, therefore, easily be mixed and matched within a project. The additional 20 folders of electric bass loops follow a similar format, with DI and amp versions of each of the matched performances. The amped sound is deep and full, providing all the bottom-end you would need for a classic Reggae mix.
