Wavesfactory has released W-Cajon for Kontakt and EXS24.
Two Cajons were recorded with 3 mics: stereo pair in front of the instrument and a mono mic in the back to better get the bass tone. Both were played with hand and brushes.
- Articulations:
- Stroke.
- Bass.
- Snap.
- 10x Round Robin, 6 velocity layers and left/right samples to get the most realistic and organic sound.
- Mapped in a way that is intended to be playable.
- Each articulation has 2 keys in order to play it with both hands.
- There is also a custom script to control the volume, pan and tune of each mic right in the GUI.
