Zero-G has announced Zero-G Classics, a new website dedicated to the classic Zero-G sample libraries, many of which have helped shape and inspire music production since Zero-G was first launched back in the early 90s.
From the new Zero-G Classics website you can already peruse, purchase and download many of the original classic Zero-G libraries, and as they move forwards from launching this brand new site they will be adding to the classic collection, which will ultimately comprise over 130 products.
What's more, the Zero-G Classics Spring Sale starts today with 40% off most titles.
New Expansion Packs
Zero-G are also in the process of creating a collection of new expansion packs using sounds from original classic Zero-G sample libraries. Initially, these packs will be for a range of music software including Native Instruments Maschine, Kontakt and Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2, kicking off with their very first Expansion Packs - Jungle Warfare 1 for Maschine 2 and Celtic Atmospheres for Omnisphere 2.
Celtic Atmospheres is a unique Celtic inspired expansion pack for Omnisphere 2 featuring sounds from the original Zero-G sample libraries Celtic and Altered States. Using the power of Omnisphere they have created a collection of sounds perfect for film production, electronica, ambient and chillout and pretty much anything the requires a sonic-fantasy element. From floating, dreamlike mandolins to distant highland bagpipes to dark and menacing drones, it's all in there.
Jungle Warfare 1 for Maschine 2 contains a selection of hand picked samples taken directly from the classic and infamous Jungle Warfare 1, released in 1995. The samples are neatly mapped in to Maschine 2, ready for you to create Jungle mayhem.
