Dream Sequencer is for that sequencing sound of the 70's as produced by Tangerine Dream, etc. The VSTi synchronizes with the host BPM and takes its root key from a "MIDI note" and plays for the duration from "note on" until "note off". The pitch knobs are quantized to semitones with a range of one octave.

I just love the sound of this plugin.

The sounds is so smooth and it's perfect for that vintage sound. I can often find myself losing control of the real world and instead i'm drawn into the mesmerizing world of dream sequencer 2.

You like the oldschool sound of Tangerine Dream or Klaus Schulze ("Berliner Schule")? You don't own Moog Modular V or something similar? Try this free one-trick-pony!
It is a stepsequencer with build-in bass-synthesizer, running in sync with your host.
It has 8 steps, which can be adjusted by one octave. The synth has a sub-oscillator with detune for more fatness, the decay of the envelope and how deep it works on the filter can be adjusted. Filter cutoff and resonance can be changed (all this NOT for each step separately) and there is a delay to make it sound like these 70s dongelong-loops.
That's all. Thats not much. but it's (nearly) enough. It's fun to play with this little, simple and easy thingy. Of course the sequence can be transposed by MIDI-in. But to really get something out of this plugin is to use external controllers (knob box) to control the knobs and sliders during running of the sequence. Now that thing starts to live!
Unfortunately, it has only 8 steps and 1 octave per step. And there is no MIDI-out.
But it's free. And it does, what it promises!
