NRR-1 is a digital emulation of a three channels tube preamplifier for guitar. It has been developed to accurately model its real hardware counterpart, built for Fleshgod Apocalypse guitarist Cristiano Trionfera by Ignite Amps, back in 2009.

The NRR-1 core circuit is mainly based on a famous boutique preamplifier made in '88, modded to suit Cristiano's needs in the best possible way.

Features:

  • Ignite Amps 3rd generation triode modeling engine.
  • Three channels: clean, rhythm and lead, each with fully separated controls.
  • Mono / Stereo processing support.
  • Selectable oversampling rate (up to 8x).
  • Global input / output level controls.
  • Double precision (64-bit) floating point mathematical model.
  • Fully automatable controls.
  • Ignite Amps proprietary preset management system with bank file import/export functions.

Can't figure out how to load this. There's no executable file. And I use Pro Tools 10 so have to use the wrapper to get it to work on PT which sucks! But there's just a DLL file. What do I do with that?

Read this:

How to Install VST Plugins in Pro Tools

Honestly, rather than buying such expensive tools which are not even capable to use natively the VST format, better is to get a way cheaper DAW which makes these VST work perfect ! Yes.

Protools ? What for ? It is a proprietary format, and you need to use messy methods to make work all the most popular plugins... which are in the VST format.

FL Studio, Reaper, Mulab, Ableton Live, Cubase, Bitwig, etc. are thousand times better.

And even Sonar which is now free (!) under the name of BandLab Cakewalk and has a professional level of quality ! Yes, Yes.

The dll file is the VST file. That's what you need to wrap to AAX format. Or leave silly proprietary PT and enjoy VST format across pretty much all other DAWS. Enjoy.

Hi, .

The bass, mid and treble knobs don't seem to be doing anything. Is there something I need to do to activate them?

Besides that, great plug in, 3 channels is super handy.

Thanks.
