At its core, "ab EQ" delivers 10 fully flexible bands per dimensional pole - and every band exists in space. Each band can be independently controlled across Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, and Bottom, allowing you to sculpt frequency content exactly where it lives in the soundfield.

You can link bands across dimensions for cohesive, traditional EQ moves - or completely decouple them to treat each spatial pole independently. Cut low frequencies behind the listener. Boost presence only on the sides. Soften highs above without touching the front image. Equalisation becomes a spatial decision, not just a tonal one.

Each band can operate as a pass, notch, bell, or shelf filter, and can be positioned freely across the frequency spectrum. The workflow feels familiar - but the results go far beyond conventional EQ.

For Mono and Stereo sources, "ab EQ" automatically converts the signal to Ambisonics, enabling full three-dimensional manipulation without changing your workflow. Even if your final mix is Stereo, all processing happens internally in Ambisonics - meaning you can rotate, rebalance, and reshape your sound in space before rendering it back to Stereo, opening the door to unique binaural and spatial results.

For users working in Surround, Dolby Atmos, or custom multispeaker arrays, "ab EQ" operates internally in up to 7th-Order Ambisonics. The result is exceptional spatial precision when shaping the frequency balance of any two- or three-dimensional source.

"ab EQ" is compatible with Mono, Stereo, and Ambisonics sources (1OA through 7OA*) and outputs Stereo and Ambisonics signals that can later be decoded to ANY speaker array - from Binaural, to Surround, and even to Dolby Atmos arrays.
