That message was only for the Win Setup version as far as I can tell. The VST3 downloads fine.

I put the .component in plugins but it doesn't show in Logic. The installation instructions tells me to put .instrument folder in VST3 but I'm using Logic. I put it there and I also put it in with components but it makes no difference - the instrument still doesn't show up in Logic. Not even on the plugin manager.
