Introducing Acoustifier from Solid State Logic, a powerful plug-in that transforms a direct input (D.I.) acoustic guitar signal into a rich, full-bodied, studio-quality recording. Designed for studio professionals, live musicians, and performers alike, Acoustifier provides a comprehensive solution for achieving realistic acoustic tone when microphones are not an option. It skillfully emulates the sound of a dual-microphone setup, enhancing the dry D.I. signal with advanced acoustic modeling and a complete, onboard SSL-grade processing chain, including EQ, compression, and reverb.

This tool is ideal for situations where capturing a guitar's natural tone with high-quality microphones is impractical. Whether mixing in-the-box, performing live, or recording on the road without access to a treated space, Acoustifier's advanced modeling breathes life into D.I. signals. It allows you to recreate the sound of a professionally miked acoustic guitar, providing consistency and quality regardless of your location.

The core of Acoustifier is its detailed DI-to-Mic Simulation. To achieve an authentic emulation, you can match your input signal to the appropriate acoustic body type. The plugin offers four popular models: two distinct dreadnought variations, a jumbo/large body, and a concert/orchestra model. This allows you to sculpt a natural, studio-quality tone, which is then "captured" by your choice of three classic microphone types: dynamic, condenser, or ribbon. A range of mic configurations, including XY and spaced pair setups, is available, along with the ability to blend the body and neck microphone signals to craft your perfect tone.

Acoustifier includes a built-in, dedicated SSL EQ and a real-time frequency analyser, designed for fast and effective tone shaping without needing additional plug-ins. At its core is a quick-access tilt band, perfect for instantly shifting the overall tonal balance. For more precise control, the EQ also features high-pass and low-pass filters, along with three fully customizable parametric bands. All adjustments are managed via an intuitive, node-based EQ graph that provides real-time visual feedback of your changes.

To bring greater authenticity and space to your sound, Acoustifier features a powerful onboard reverb engine. This module adds depth and realism to the dry D.I. signal, utilizing algorithms derived from SSL's renowned FlexVerb plug-in. It offers a curated selection of 'mix-ready' reverb types, including Room, Chamber, Plate, and Hall, allowing you to place your guitar in a virtual space. To maintain clarity and focus, an integrated reverb ducking feature is included. This dynamic control automatically reduces the reverb level in response to the guitar signal, ensuring your core performance remains front-and-centre and is never overwhelmed by the effect.

Solid State Logic is synonymous with dynamics processing, and Acoustifier features an integrated compressor section to help you take control of your guitar's dynamics. This module can provide everything from subtle smoothing to more aggressive tone shaping. An Auto-Gain feature intelligently level-matches your adjustments, helping you dial in the right amount of compression with confidence. For added flexibility, a dedicated Mix control allows for quick and intuitive parallel compression by blending the compressed signal with the dry signal. The compressor can also be placed post-reverb, offering even more creative control over the final processed sound.
