Bunkervik Reverb

Bunkervik Reverb is a free spatial reverb plugin created by the NEMUS project in collaboration with Missing Ear (Matteo Gualeni) and Physical Audio.

The reverb is based on acoustic measurements of the Bunkervik, a wartime air-raid shelter beneath the streets of Brescia in Italy, which is now used as a space for art and performance.

Using a modal synthesis engine the plugin recreates the sound of the tunnel with a dynamic microphone position, allowing real-time walkthroughs of the space.

The microphone rotation can be varied along with the overal damping of the reverberation. Additional controls for the Aura allow creative tuning of the high-frequency modes.
