Chainix

Chainix is a multi-FX chain processor for macOS. Eight effect modules — Saturate, Filter, Compress, Crush, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and Noise — in a single drag-and-reorder rack with zero added latency. Enable the ones you want, drag to reorder the signal flow, and sculpt the sound live with the Hex Pad XY controller and the Flux modulation engine.

8 Drag-and-Reorder FX Modules:

• Saturate — Tape, Tube, and Clip modes with analog-modeled waveshaping.
• Filter — state variable LP/HP/BP, 20 Hz–20 kHz with resonance.
• Compress — Punch, Glue, and Squash modes with parallel mix.
• Crush — continuous bit depth (2–16-bits) and sample rate reduction.
• Chorus — stereo quadrature LFO with rate and depth.
• Delay — tempo-synced with filtered feedback and soft clipping.
• Reverb — size, damping, and independent wet/dry mix.
• Noise — Vinyl, Tape, Static, Room with wobble and sidechain ducking.
• Drag any module to reorder the chain in real time (20 ms crossfade protection).

Global Controls:

• PHAT macro — compress, saturate, low-pass warmth and soft-clip in one turn.
• TRASH macro — clip, crush, resonance and noise for instant destruction.
• Flux Engine — Perlin-noise organic parameter drift to keep the chain alive.
• Sub-Anchor — LR4 crossover keeps bass clean while the chain colors mids and tops.

Hex Pad:

• 2D XY performance controller with 6-corner mapping: Space, Flux, Heat, Crush, Wobble, Filter.
• Rhythmic Morph — BPM-synced automated cursor paths (Circle, Star, Triangle, Random Walk).

Formats: AU, VST3, and Standalone — Universal Binary (Apple Silicon + Intel), code-signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs cleanly on macOS.
