ChowMatrix is a delay effect, made up of an inifintely growable tree of delay lines. Each delay node delays the audio from its "parent" node, and has controls for the following parameters:
ChowMatrix supports free and tempo-synced delay times, and also features an "Insanity" parameter that lets each delay node "wander" randomly.

Now this is what i call 'An Interesting Idea'! Just five minutes prodding around with this thing and i can already image tons and tons of cool ways to use this plugin, the idea is brilliant - If you're looking for your usual bread'n'butter delay this aint it.
Frankly, it's quite hard to use, dialing in sounds take forever and the UI is cluttered, but let's not forget that this is V1 of a delay-model that is completely new. I'm excited to continue using this and i'm even more excited for its future.

Very interesting concept! Can sound really strange or weird, but also very good. Sound quality also seems to be very good.
Some presets and a manual would be helpful. Nevertheless a great idea.
One wish - concerning all your plugins: I miss an ASIO implementation on the standalone versions, as the ChowCentaur already has it. Also an on-off bypass switch would be fine.

There's been such a long delay between new lines of development in this category that I am thrilled to give unfiltered feedback about a plugin that thinks totally outside the bucket. This category is saturated with plugins, but Jatin Chowdhury (from Stanford's CCRMA) tapped into an approach that starts by echoing network node/link models, and then crossfeeds that input with randomized parameters to drive some great effects. And it's free so ggget ittt.
Read ReviewThis delay plugin is absolutely insane. It's definitely worth the download. I completed a review and demo on it. You can find it here. https://youtu.be/d7UJUsC8Tno.
