ColorLab 2

ColorLab 2 is a multiband coloring plugin that combines 17 unique effects with per-band control, motion modulation, and a built-in finish stage. It's designed for adding character, movement, and cohesion to drums, bass, vocals, keys, and full mixes.

Two Processing Modes

The plugin operates in Multiband or Single Band mode. Multiband splits your signal into Low, Mid, and High frequency bands with draggable crossovers. Each band has two effect slots, giving you up to six simultaneous effects. Single Band processes the full spectrum through two effect slots.

17 Purpose-Built Effects:

• Saturation: Drive, Tube, Tape, SClip, HClip, Transistor.
• Enhancement: Exciter, Air, Silk.
• Dynamics: Transformer, Punch, Density, GlueComp, DeEss.
• Texture: Grit, Bleed, LoFi.

Each effect has an Amount control and a Motion parameter that adds subtle movement and variation to the processing. Tape and Bleed include optional HQ and Clean modes.

Finish Stage

The output section includes a global Mix knob, Output level, and a four-mode Clipper for finalizing your sound without leaving the plugin.

Specifications

ColorLab 2 ships with 19 category-based presets, two UI sizes, and runs with zero latency. Available as AU, VST3, and AAX for macOS 10.13+ (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11.
