The Behringer DeepMind 12 is a true analog 12-voice polyphonic synthesizer that marks a milestone in accessible yet profoundly powerful synthesis. Featuring a 49-note velocity-sensitive keyboard with aftertouch, it offers an expressive platform for performers and producers. Each of its 12 voices is equipped with two analog oscillators, a selectable 2/4-pole low-pass filter, three envelope generators, and two LFOs, providing a rich and versatile sound architecture. The DeepMind 12 is capable of producing an immense range of sounds, from lush, evolving pads and classic polyphonic leads to deep, resonant basses and complex, animated textures.

What sets the DeepMind 12 apart is its deep integration of features typically found on more expensive instruments. An 8-bus modulation matrix allows for incredibly complex routing of 22 sources to 123 destinations, opening up a universe of dynamic and evolving sound design. A 32-step control sequencer and a sophisticated arpeggiator add powerful melodic and rhythmic capabilities. Furthermore, the synthesizer incorporates four studio-grade effects engines, developed in collaboration with TC Electronic and Klark Teknik, offering over 30 high-quality algorithms including reverb, chorus, flanger, phaser, delay, and multi-band distortion. A large LCD display provides clear visual feedback, making navigation and editing of its vast parameters an intuitive process.
