Lift is the second plug-in of the Diamond series. It is the perfect complement to the Diamond Color EQ and comes in both a mixing and a mastering versions.
Diamond Lift captures the true essence of the Studio DMI workflow and signature sound that has been used for several years by Luca Pretolesi and Scott Banks on numerous chart-topping records. Lift is carefully pieced together to accurately emulate four integral steps of Studio DMI's mixing and mastering processes based on multiple pieces of analog gear and various chains. The four modules included are a Saturator, EQ, Compressor and a Clipper. Lift is an easy to use plugin that can quickly bring a synth or vocal to the front of a mix, or transform a dull track into a thick, exciting and loud final master.
Based on an analog circuit it includes a bypass/on switch and control over the amount of harmonic distortion introduced by the saturation stage.
The EQ section included in Lift offers low and high shelving boost filters, each with 3 different selectable shelving slopes.
This section is based on tree different compressor models/chains.
Three different models are available in the mastering version of lift and one in the mixing version, all based on high quality analog circuits. The clipper stage of Lift allows to increase the overall output level by hard-limiting transients above 0dB.
Note: because of a specific design choice, the clipper stage doesn't operate in oversampling mode. For this reason extreme limiting might cause perceivable aliasing, in particular if operated at 44.1K or 48K sample rates.

About Acustica Audio:
Acustica Audio as a company is active both in the field of information technology (IT) and audio engineering. Within the world of audio the company's goal is to provide both the most authentic reproduction of vintage and other high-end audio gear, and the development of new original hybrid processors - all based on sampling.
Over the years Acustica Audio has become well known for its audio plug-ins, which are based on unique for the market non-linear Vectorial Volterra Kernels technology. An analogy could be drawn between an audio sampler (an electronic musical instrument able to capture and reproduce audio samples) and our proprietary plug-in engine, which allows for based on sampling modelling of various audio processors and systems, such as: EQs, filters, circuit distortions, compressors, expanders, reverbs, echoes, flangers, loudspeakers, clippers, etc.
About Studio DMI Studio:
Studio DMI translates to 'to study' in the native tongue of Italian-born sound engineer, Luca Pretolesi. The Study of Digital Music Innovation is, as its name describes, a means to advance the art form of music production and sound. Studio DMI isn't just a studio where the world's top dance music artists come to have Grammy-nominated sound engineers mix and master instant club bangers. They also provide opportunities for driven individuals to make their music better.
About Nebula and Acqua Effect plug-ins:
Nebula is Acustica Audio's sampler plug-in able to load external sample libraries of various sound processors. An Acqua is a stand-alone plug-in based on skinned collection of Nebula libraries with added routing and control functionalities. Aquas are developed by combining one or more Nebula's instances. This process called 'parametrization' is achieved by using script languages proprietary to Acustica Audio and does not require external tools or compilers.
